Where Is The Kispiox Festival ?
The Kispiox Valley is located in North Western British Columbia between Prince George and Prince Rupert. The nearest commercial airport is in Smithers about an hour and 15 minutes away, and about 2 hours away there is the Terrace airport. By road, Highway 16 (yellowhead) passes through New Hazelton, where you turn off the main highway at the tourist information center and head towards Old Hazelton past the hospital and forestry buildings. Just past the forestry buildings, there is a turn off for the Kispiox Valley, just before going down the hill into Old Hazelton. The festival grounds are about a 25 minute drive on the Kispiox Valley Road, just past the Sportsman's Lodge.
