Logging will begin in the upper Kispiox Watershed "Special Management Unit" as soon as next spring if Forestry approves the plans of Skeena Cellulose. A decision is expected by the end of December 98.
There is as of yet no decision from Cabinet on the unresolved area to the east of the Swan Lake Park.
